Our group's main aim is to provide empirical tools for improved policy analysis and consulting. For this purpose we expand existing economic and econometric methods, develop new econometric estimators and investigate by government agensies.
In the field of labor economics our research centers on labor market perfomance and policy. Our interests cover various fields, such as the evaluation of active labor market policy, optimal labor market policy, and the determinants of labor force participation.
In the field of health and sports economics our research interest lies in the impact of health on labor market outcomes, the determinants of population health, the evaluation of public health interventions, and the impact of sports activities on human capital and labor market outcomes.
Currently we are looking for a research assistant position at the Chair for Econometrics. More informations
